Apartment for director Leonid Gaidai

In Soviet times, designers had almost no opportunity to develop themselves in the direction of the interior.  The houses were with typical layouts, the furniture market was also deprived of diversity, so only from the 60s the interiors gradually became more interesting.  The Soviet interior is not included in any definition of style, it is close to the loft, modernity, and constructivism.  People of that time were limited in their choice, all that could be updated in the interior was textiles or the necessary equipment.  Therefore, sometimes one room performed several functions.  Such an interior reminds us of the youth of our parents, you feel like child, among adult furniture.
An interior in which it is pleasant to spend time in the company of close people, not in a hurry, remembering happy moments during loud conversations.  Such an interior reflects the life values of its owners, it is comfortable, cozy and pleasant to be in it.
